Are you an aspiring online arcade webmaster?

Your first online arcade just went online. Now what do you do? If you want your arcade to be successful you must set your site apart from the thousands of other online arcades. The first steps I recommend for you to do is to upgrade your site with a custom template and add modifications to your script!

Starting an online arcade is an excellent online business to venture in! Online arcades are more popular than ever. You can advertise with Google Adsense and make money! Within recent years, programmers have designed arcade software (or scripts) that easily allow you to easily start an online arcade website without programming knowledge very quickly! There are many scripts to select from and each one has its positives and negatives. Because these sites are really easy to start up with the help from the scripts, thousands can be found all over the internet with new arcade sites opening up every day. Usually scripts will come with three or four default templates which most webmasters will use. The first step in having a successful arcade is to make your arcade stand out from the thousands of default designed arcade sites on the internet.

When it comes to arcade templates, you have a couple of choices. You can hire an expensive web designer and pay upwards of $500 for a custom job, you can code one yourself, or you can buy a pre-coded custom template from one of many online stores. Usually you can buy a really nice template in the $35 to $75 dollar range. If you do not know HTML and CSS and you do not have the patience or time to learn, buying a template is your best option. Not only is having a custom template a superior way to have your site stand out from others, but most templates sold are coded with prime ad placements to help with ads click through rate.

Another great way to have your arcade stand out is by adding modifications or “mods” to enhance user experiences on your site.  Most acrade scripts come with many features, but some are not included with the script “out of the box.”  Mods are usually additions created by the webmaster community or script designers. Again, if you’re not a coder, you can purchase mods for your script relatively inexpensively.  Although, some advanced mods can be purchased for a few hundred dollars. Examples of some cool must have mods are: animated featured games mods, traffic trading mods, link trade mods, security mods, user profile mods, tournament mods and the list goes on and on The return on investment for these mods and arcade templates is usually earned back quickly from a massive growing in your return visitors, not to mention more money from ads with your templates higher CTR..

Your new arcade looks great with its new template and cool custom modifications. Now it is time to have fun and make some money!
