Malcolm McDowell to face Simon Baker in Upcoming The Mentalist Program
For those of you who enjoy the show The Mentalist are aware that one of the great elements of the show are the exchanges between Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) and the evil characters that he faces as he attempts to investigate each case. Throughout the first two seasons, The Mentalist creator, Bruno Heller, has done an amazing job of selecting just the right people to perform those rolls. In one of the future episodes of The Mentalist, Heller does another superb job of choosing one of the ideal “bad boys” of television and film, Malcolm McDowell. McDowell is best known for his performance as Alex in the film A Clockwork Orange. In the future episode McDowell will play thehead of a religious cult that Jane ends up getting caught up in through his work with the CBI.
In a recent interview with TV Guide Bruno Heller, was quoted as saying the following about Malcolm McDowell’s appearance on The Mentalist: “He seems to have his sinister tentacles in every pie, which is really mixing horrible metaphors, but he’s that kind of guy. We’re very lucky to get someone as great as Malcolm McDowell to play that.”
McDowell’s historic acting credits include; Dr. Calico in Bolt, Dr. Samuel Loomis in Rob Zombies Halloween, Linderman on the television series Heroes and Vater Orlaag in the television series,Metalocalypse. McDowell has also appeared (vocally) in a number of guest voice over roles in popular animated TV programs.
Malcolm McDowell and Simon Baker will provide an intense witty battle of good and evil as Jane tries to get to get to the bottom of the investigation. The episode with McDowell is set to air on April 29th, 2010. The Mentalist will be returning to television after a two week break on Thursday, March 4th airing the show “Red Herring”. This week’s episode will take the California Bureau of Investigation team to Napa Valley to investigate the murder of a cooking competition. Audiences will also be following watching the story continuing to unfold of the relationship between agent Rigsby and agent Van Pelt. During the previous episode they had their first fight in their young relationship. The next installment of the Red John saga is also in the back of the viewers minds which has been a recurring theme during the entire series.

Mentalist: Blood In, Blood Out Synopsis, Season 2
The Mentalist continues season two with another excellent episode as they completed episode 14, Blood In, Blood Out. This episode focuses around Kimball Cho, (Tim Kang) where we discover he has been contacted by a friend of his from the past during his time as member of a gang. Kimball refuses to respond to the messages from his old friend who ends up getting killed in an alley. The man’s name is David who we find out was almost like a brother to Cho as they were growing up in the gang.
David’s mother enters the scene and asks Cho to investigate the case because she believed that David had turned his life around and got out of the gang scene. Cho, not being able to let go of his past perceptions of David, refuses tohelp out, believing that the shooting was related to his gang activity.
Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) joins the storyline as he subtly encourages Cho to consider investigating the case as he believes there was more to the shooting then gang activity. Cho and Jane begin their informal investigation when they meet with ex-gang members that Cho used to run with when he was younger. As Cho interacts with his ex-gang members we see a different, edgier side of Cho. Cho continues to reiterate the fact that he wants to drop the case but Jane keeps pushing him to continue with it.
As the story unfolds we meet Frank who is a janitor at David’s work. Jane and Cho ask Frank if he was aware of strange behavior regarding David to which Frank responds that he wasn’t aware of any strange behavior. Frank also denies knowing anything about a list that Jane is carrying around that he collected from the scene of the crime.
At this point in the plot we are introduced to, David’s Boss, and Crystal who is Adam’s assistant. Jane immediately deduces that Crystal has a runny nose and is most likely using cocaine. The show hits it climax and Jane, Cho and Rigsby corner Adam in a conference room where they find him doing drugs with Crystal. Cho appears to believe that Adam is behind themurder of David and interrogates him to the point of violence. The scene was all set up so that Frank would hear Cho becoming violent with Adam. Cho takes Adam outside and shoots two shots. When Jane, Rigsby and Frank arrive at the scene, Adam is laying on the ground with what seems to be two shots in his stomach. Jane works his mind magic and convinces Frank to confess to knowing that the list of numbers was account numbers which he was going to use to steal money from bank accounts.

Sorting your Magic the Gathering (MTG) cards for Selling
The Problem
If you are a Magic the Gathering (MTG) player who has been playing for a bit, you’ve probably got a load of MTG cards that are all over the place, and as a result, it can be nearly impossible to figure out what cards you have, and also to be able to track them down!
Over the last few years I’ve found a system for selling off spare Magic the Gathering cards and the first thing I needed to do was to sort my collection. This article is an overview of how to effectively sort your Magic the Gathering collection so that you can fully understand and realise what potential you have in your collection.
The Process
This is a highlight of the process you need to follow to properly sort your collection so you can understand what you currently have – this will help you find cards and maximise your understanding of your collection for selling.
a) The Whole Story
This step may sound obvious, but find all your cards and put them all together on a big table – as simple as that. It’s important to make sure you are looking at the complete picture.
b) Sort by Set and Block
The first thing to do with your collection is to go through the collection you have in front of you and sort your cards into Block and Set. Firstly you should go through all your cards and sort these cards into piles. Each pile should contain all cards from one Magic the Gathering (MTG) set – try to keep them in chronological set order. In other words, try to make sure that your piles of cards are sorted such that the cards from the oldest sets are first, and the sets with the newest cards are last. This is probably the longest step, but also the most vital.
Next group those piles of cards into their respective Blocks. A Block in Magic the Gathering is a collection of Sets, so this step should be quite easy.
c) Sort by Rarity
OK, so now you have a number of piles of cards, one for each Set, and you have grouped your piles of cards together in their respective Blocks. You now need to go through your cards and sort each pile by rarity.
The main reason to do this is so that you can easily find your mythic rares, rares and uncommons, these are your most sought after and precious cards.
d) Sort by Colour
OK, so now you have piles of cards sorted by Set, Block and rarity, the final step in the sorting process is to sort your cards by colour. Go through each one of those piles of cards, and then sort your collection by colour. The standard way to sort a collection is in the standard order of the colours of MTG which is:
- White
- Blue
- Black
- Red
- Green
- Multicolour
- Artifact
- Land
Sorted – this should now leave you with a collection of Magic the Gathering cards which are nice and sorted, and easy to find anything you need.
Summary
Sorting your collection can take some time, but once it’s done you are rewarded by a Magic the Gathering collection where you can easily find any card, and start to understand what is in your collection should you decide to sell cards from that collection.

Hemorrhoid Treatment That Works Forever
If you are suffering from piles (or hemorrhoids to give them their proper name) then I am sure that you are absolutely desperate to find a hemorrhoid cure which will not only solve your current problem but also make sure that it doesn’t happen again.
The approach you take will depend on whether you are suffering from internal hemorrhoids or external hemorrhoids.
Internal hemorrhoids are swollen veins right up inside your rectum which will give you pain when you are having a bowel movement and may well bleed, causing blood in your poos (stools) or bleeding from your anus. Both of these symptoms are very frightening, but they are extremely common symptoms of internal hemorrhoids.
If you have external hemorrhoids then you are likely to have a sore swollen lump – which may be as small as a pea (baby pea size!) or as large as a brazil nut or worse. This lump will hurt when you do any activity like walking or running, and will also hurt when you are sitting, ache when you are standing and generally make life miserable.
There are medical solutions to both of these problems. For external hemorrhoids there are some well known brands of cream which can help to shrink them and reduce the pain; if this doesn’t work there is always the option of surgery – usually rubber band ligation, which will cut off the blood supply causing them to shrivel up. For internal hemorrhoids it is possible to treat them with lasers, which cauterize them so that they heal up.
So far, so good – you’ve got rid of your immediate problem. The trouble is that neither of these approaches gets to the root of the problem so your hemorrhoids will recur.
If you opt for a natural solution, you will be amazed how quickly not only will your current hemorrhoids disappear, but also you won’t be plagued by them returning. Once you find a good set of instructions, you are only a couple of days away from permanent relief.
