8 Easy Ways To Get More Page Views For Your Blog/Website

If You like many other bloggers are using adsense, adbrite, yahoo publisher or any other PPC advertising network as your main source of making money with your blog, then you probably know that the more page views and clicks you get, the more money you make. Having people to read more of your articles by visiting different pages, thus giving your blog more page views, is a great way to help your revenue grow. But, not everybody who visit your blog, is going to visit each and every pages of your blog/site.
Most visitors leave the blog/site, as soon as they have found what they were looking for, which depending on the blog usually happens within the first minuet or so of arriving on the first page (unless of course they are your loyal readers). So, how do you get your visitors to check or read more than one page or article? How do you get them to view more pages?… Here are 10 simple yet very effective ways you can increase the number of page views you get.

Interlinking
Interlinking or deep linking can help you not only with your blog’s SEO status, but also with page views. Every time you write a new article or post, simply link to a related one on your blog (or other blogs, in case of having more than one blog).

Static Page
This is one of the smartest way to increase your page views. I myself haven’t done it yet, but have seen many bloggers do it, and they all are happy with the results (maybe I should get that going as well). Its very simple, you basically make each article a static page. Then simply refer people to the static page.

Reference Page
Make a couple of reference pages inside your blog, with some subjects or material to refer people back to them. When you write a new post, if applicable, mention the reference point and point to the reference page by leaving a link. But, don’t over do it by using it more than one or two times in an article, or referring visitors to it without having any reasonable or useful connection to the article.

Article On Article (Post On Post)
Write an article where you talk about couple of your past posts that you think were very informative, and that you think your readers should definitely read. It would be a good way to introduce new visitors to your old articles, as well as getting some page views from your loyal readers.

Series Writing
I am sure you have seen many of these kinds of posts, where bloggers write a series of article on a subject. Series posting will give your readers something to look forward to, while at the same time you get to refer to the last article in the new one, thus having some new or perhaps even regular visitors to click onto the last article for a quick “catch-up/reminder”. Series articles can be done once a week, month or less or more often. Avoid stretching a subject that can be addressed in a two sentence article, by making it a series of 10 articles.

Favorite Page
You may already have this. But what i am talking about is not for links to your favorite bloggers or friends. We are talking about creating a page with links to all of your master pieces. Every blogger has some articles that (s)he favors and knows has the juice. Make a page with links to your best works and name it favorite articles or best posts or what have you. People tend to like these kinds of pages where they know the can get the high points and important information in one place.

Break It Up
Thankfully most of blogging tools we use today like wordpress and blogger are already using the “more” or “read more” tag. This will make the reader go to the next page in order to read the rest of the article. Instead of having a long and never ending looking article, which most readers shy away from, use the “more” tag to break up your longer posts, and use two or more pages for them, i

Category Favorite
Another way to increase page view which is based on the same idea as number 4(Favorite Page) is a favorite page based on different categories. Since probably like most bloggers you write articles for different categories, it would be a good idea to have a favorite page for each category. Like favorite politics related articles or best money related posts.

I hope these tips will help you increase page views and hopefully the number of clicks you get on your ad sense ads.

7 Ways To Make More Money With Google Ad sense

Google ad sense is an easy way to make money with your blog. If used correctly, Ad sense can be your most important tool for making money online. A simple change in color or style of the ad sense block you use on your site, may very well turn your ad sense from getting clicked on 5 times a day to 50 times a day, thus increasing your revenue from $0.50 a day to $50 a day or more. That’s why Optimizing Google Ad sense should be on top of your to do list when monetizing your blog or website. There are a couple of ways to do that. Here are a few simple but essential ways in which you can optimize your ad sense to perform better, and maximize your ad sense earnings.

Style of the ad sense block
A well designed ad sense block which fits the style of your website/blog can take your CTR ratio to a higher level. Obviously each website or blog is designed differently. So experimenting with different layouts, can help you find the best performing format. There are some styles of ad sense block that have proven to be the highest earners when it come to ad sense earning. Two of the most popular ones are:
A. a 160×600 Skyscraper with text ads, placed on the left or right side of the page.
B. a 336 x 280 big Rectangle with text ads, placed on top or middle of the page.

Colors of the ad sense block
An important aspect of a well designed ad sense block is it’s colors. While you may not want to trick people in any way, shape or form into clicking on ads, using the right colors and blending the ads with the content of your page, will make the ads appear as though it’s part of it, and not an unrelated subject. A simple example would be using a white background ad sense block with no borders, on a page with white backgrounds, which perfectly blends the ads with the content, thus giving your Ad sense an increase in click through ratio.

High paying keywords
Using high valued and reach keywords in your content is the number one way to ensure that ad sense will serve ads with high paying keywords, which means you will earn more for each click. Which would you rather have: a page with 10 keywords which pay $0.02 a click, or 2 keywords that pay $1.00 per click?… Of course that doesn’t mean bombarding your content with non related and nonsense keywords. Not only that will not attract any new traffic, but you also will risk losing your loyal readers as well. All that said, keep in mind to not write for ad sense, but always write with your readers in mind, with an eye on reach keywords.

SEO (search engine optimization)
Search engine optimization or SEO not only helps your site’s ranking and status, but it also can contribute to your ad sense earnings if done properly. Here are few example of SEO:

A. Robots.txt file- An often over looked yet very effective method for SEO.
B. Meta Tags- Use meta tags that defines the content of each page.
C. Site Map- Create a sitemap file for your site using Google webmaster tools or any other tools you use.
D. Meta Title- Using meta title will make it easy to know what your content is about.
E. Title- Using a short but very descriptive title for your article, which is one of the first thing search engines see, is considered very important.
F. Navigation- It has been proven that a navigation menu placed on the left side is more effective than the conventional top navigation.

Costume search box
By having a Google search box on your site, not only you are giving your readers a convenient way of searching Google right on your site, but also you have the chance to earn money by any clicks generated by the users, on ads displayed on the search result page. It’s like having your own google search site, and getting paid for searches performed on it.

Ad links
A new feature that has been added to ad sense recently, is ad links. It can be a great tool for increasing your ad sense income. It displays a couple of different links, which are determent by Google to be the best and most relevant keywords for the content of your page. Not only that, you also benefit from its anonymity fact, which makes it difficult for many reader to distinguish the links from your content, therefor increasing the click through ratio.

Targeted traffic
Last but not least, is of course the all important traffic factor. The more traffic you get, the higher your click through ratio will be. But not any traffic will convert into clicks. Quality targeted traffic is what increases click through ratio. Simply because these kinds of visitors are already looking for information offered by ad sense displayed on your site. There are many different ways to drive targeted traffic to your site. But the best kind of traffic is the one generated by search engines. Search engine generated traffic is more likely to increase your click through ratio, because these are visitors who are actively looking for such terms and keywords.

These are some simple but effective ways you can increase your ad sense earnings. But, you don’t have to stop there. As you go along, you will come to know and find more ways to make the most out of ad sense. Combine ad sense with a quality blog, and you have got yourself one of the best ways to make money online.Keeping an aye of each method’s performance can help you determine the best methods possible for increasing your ad sense click through, thus maximizing your earnings from ad sense.

4 Best Ways To Research And Find A Profitable Niche For Free

Finding a Profitable Niche is the first step for a successful online based business. However, its the most widely misguided part of the process. Most aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners are often led to believe that keyword tool or database, are the way for finding a profitable niche, which is totally wrong. Keyword tools only show you the number of times a term or phrase has been searched for, not how many times it has been bought. Just because someone search for something, doesn’t mean they are going to buy it. To know if a niche is profitable enough for you to base your online business on, you need to know the sales volume of the specific product, not the number of times somebody searched for it.

So, how do you find out what people are actually buying? How do you go about finding a profitable niche? What tools can you use to find out if there truly is a market hungry for what you are going to offer? I am going to show you some of the best sources, for researching and finding a profitable niche, used by top internet marketers who have been relying on these sources for years to find profitable money making niches.

Ebay
Ebay is one of the largest market places in the world. Its one of the best and easiest ways to spot a profitable niche. The good thing about ebay is that you can find profitable niche, related to both physical and digital products. A simple search of most popular products, can reveal what people are buying.

Magazines
Magazines are the most reliable way of finding out if a specific niche is going to be profitable. Think about it, if the publisher has enough money to continue printing the magazine, year after year, than there must be advertisers who are wiling to support the funding of the magazine, and if there are such large numbers of advertisers who spend that much resources and money into getting their ads seen, then there must be a hungry market out there that is buying what they are advertising. Make sense?…

You may think its not a good sign, to have too much competition in a marketplace. But, it is! In fact, it’s a great sign to have competition. Competition means there is a big demand for the product. I know more competition and bigger markets may seem scary, and you may think its the wrong approach. But, consider this, if there is not much competition, there may not be a large enough market for you to promote your product /service. Of course the more competition there is in a market, the more consumers there is to sell your product to.

Make use of the internet, and take advantage of the ability to search and find different magazine from different industries. Look for magazines with a large number of subscribers, that have been around for a while. That shows you if the market will be a long lasting one.

Amazon.com
Another really big marketplace is Amazon.com. Amazon has been around longer than ebay, so it can show products that have been selling for a long long time. Break your search down to categories, and look for the most popular products in those categories that your interested in.

ClickBank
If you want to create and sell physical product, than the above places will help you. But, if you are planning in selling digital products such as E-books, you would want to look at ClickBank market place. ClickBank is one of the largest markets for selling digital products. You can search for products depending on their popularity status, which will show you if a certain product is hot or not.

Using these 4 places mentioned above, you can easily find a profitable niche. Once you found a profitable niche that you want to continue with, then you can start using the keyword research, to find keyword phrases and terms used most often to search for such a product. Making money online as an internet marketer is not that hard, once you do your research and find a profitable Niche.

5 Ideas For Making Money With Facebook!

How to make money with Facebook? Is it really possible to make money with facebook? It seems like making money with facebook is on everybody’s mind these days. If you are one of those people who want to know how to make money with facebook, here are some ideas to help you get started in making money on facebook.

These methods don’t require you to buy anything or pay someone to tell you the “secrets”. As a matter of fact you can start making money with your facebook right now without having to spend any money at all. These are no “secrets” for making money on facebook. Simply some very basic methods that people use to make money elsewhere, but with a little work and patience you can apply the same methods to make money on facebook

Of course, like any other method to make money, you need a market for it. In this case the market would be facebook friends. The more facebook friends you have, the more chance you have of making (more)money. What if you don’t have much facebook friends?…Fortunately it’s very easy to create a massive market (friends for facebook) simply by searching and inviting others to be your friend. But, if you want to take it to the next level and automate the finding and adding friends process, there are some software that can do just that.

Ok, lets get to the point and see how you can make money on facebook. Here are some proven ways you can use to make money on facebook.

Showing ads on Facebook
With all the facebook applications that make it easy and a snap to start showing ads on your facebook, there is no excuse for not taking advantage of this method, specially if you are popular amongst your facebook friends, and have a big audience to show your ads to. Using adsense, chitika and other PPC advertising companies you can easily setup your ads and customize it to your liking. Make sure to set it somehow that it serves ads related to product and services that you know your facebook audience is interested in.

Writing a Facebook book (How To…)
Facebook is attracting more and more members everyday. And lets face it, not all of these people are facebook savvy. And even though getting started with facebook for you and I might be simple and quick, many people have problem with the basic things. Write a small and to the point e-book about facebook and how to use it. Maybe a simple step by step instruction for getting started with facebook. Or an e-book about how to use different application to make facebook experience a better one. There are many possibilities. With the huge amount of facebook apps and all the new ones that are added daily, this can be quite big. You don’t even have to pay to promote your e-book, simply use your own facebook or better yet create one for your e-book and start promoting it.

Affiliate marketing on Facebook
It’s the same idea as showing ads, but in a more direct way. Register for free with affiliate networking sites such as clickbank, Maxbounty and etc, and pick a product relevant to your facebook audience interest to promote. You will be provided a simple code which is a link with your affiliate id embedded in it. Whenever someone clicks on that link and buys the product or service, you make money by getting a commission.

You can create an entirely new facebook for that product and start promoting it there. A friend of mine is actually doing it for 4/5 different weight loss product. He created a facebook page for each product and started adding friends to his facebook. He writes short posts about the product and posts it on his facebook with his affiliate link in it. Hi is making a couple of hundred dollars a month doing this. I know it’s not much, but for something that doesn’t cost you a dime and takes about 30 minuets to setup, and takes about 20 minutes or so a day to run, I don’t think it’s a bad deal.

Blogging about Facebook
There are already some people doing it. But there is always room for new voices. Get a free blog over at blogger and use Google adsense (which is already integrated in blogger, so even if you don’t know how to show ads on your blog, you can set it up with couple clicks) to show ads on your blog and make money that way.
When you established yourself as an authority and a trusted person for anything related to facebook, you can get some sponsor and maybe use affiliate networking sites to find and promote facebook related product.

Create and sell a Facebook application
If you are savvy enough and know your way around, why not use your skills to make a facebook app of your own and sell it to facebook users? Again, once you made it, you can use the same strategies mentioned above (blog or a facebook page for the app) to promote your app.

There you have it, 5 ideas you can use to make money not only on facebook, but you can also apply the same ideas to Myspace, Twitter and other social networking platforms to make money.
